Spring in Busan

Before moving to Busan, we always thought that Summer was our favorite season. Christmas time with family, Kiwi BBQs, warm weather, the beach...While we still love summer, nothing could prepare us for the beauty of Springtime in our new home.

Our top picks for cherry blossoms in Busan:

Dalmaji Road 

A famous road lined with cherry blossoms, all the way from Haeundae to Songjeong Beach. There are many cafes/restaurants on the hill with views of the ocean and walking tracks in the forest below (you can even find an outdoor workout area).

Agapia Park 

A park full of cherry blossoms and photogenic locations. This is where we had our photo shoot.

Oncheoncheon stream  

A favorite area for locals to hang out at cherry blossom time. Enjoy the walk and street food. We found beautiful cherry blossoms in the surrounding apartments.

Namcheon-dong apartments  

These large apartment blocks lined with cherry blossoms. It's especially nice here as they fall off and cover the roads and footpaths. Head to nearby Gwangan beach afterward to enjoy one of the many beachfront cafes/restaurants.
